TLC4CF was launched regionally on 28/09/2009 by several famous faces!

TLC4CF is a branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Assoc. of Ireland. It's aim is to improve the CF facilities in Limerick Regional Hospital by constructing a specialised CF outpatients unit consisting of 5 treatment rooms & 9 inpatient rooms. It will also lobby for the recommended number of staff needed to care for PWCF, thus bringing the services in Limerick up to European standard. This project will cost in the region of €3.7 million.

The regional launch was held in the Savoy Hotel, Limerick and was well attended by sporting stars such as Munster rugby players Marcus Horan & Alan Quinlan. They were joined players from the U-21 All-Ireland Hurling Champions, Clare. a great night was had by all and speakers included Dr. Michael Mahony, Pediatric Consultant in Limerick and Martin Cahill, fundraising manager from the CFAI.
